Welcome to the Champion Mindset Collective
Dylan Marc Tayler Smiler, also known by his artist name Dyslo. Dylan is a father, hip hop artist, clothing designer, and the founder of the brand Marc Tayler. But behind the creativity and success is a story of deep struggle, healing, and transformation. After spending 20 years trapped in a cycle of gangs, addiction, and jail, Dylan has now been clean for 5 years. He’s rebuilt his life from rock bottom through recovery, fatherhood, meditation, and service. His mission is to share his testimony to inspire others to open up, seek help, and believe that change is possible no matter how far gone things may seem.
His journey started in dysfunction. The first two years of his life were chaotic, followed by two years with no mum or dad. That early trauma showed up in his childhood behaviours and led him to the streets, where he spent the next 20 years in a cycle of gangs, crime, addiction, and jail. But things began to shift after rehab and graduating from music school.
Becoming a father gave him a reason to keep going, even after a family breakdown caused by his relapse into drugs. From rock bottom, he committed to recovery, lived in a meditation centre, and sat through ten long silent retreats. Those years of stillness and healing gave him a compassionate heart and a clearer mind. He's now 5 years clean, balancing life as a solo dad, working, building his clothing brand, and staying committed to growth and service. Having lived both sides, self-hate and self-love, addiction and freedom and he's here for anyone who wants to process their pain, grow, and become who they were meant to be.
